Active Warrior Games returns on Sunday 22nd March to once again provide a challenging, but fun, test of speed, strength, power and skill. This year we’ve added a new participant category in the form of a team entry (team of 3 competitors) to the competition. This means that there will be 5 podiums to award in 2020!
Top 3 Women – Individual
Top 3 Men – Individual
Top 3 Women’s Teams
Top 3 Men’s Teams
Top 3 Mixed Teams
Influenced by both obstacle course racing and CrossFit/functional fitness, this event is a race against the clock, and each other, as you battle your way through five timed fitness challenges designed to put your whole body to the test.
Held at The Outdoor Sports Centre in Southampton within the Athletics track and surrounding areas, each challenge will remain secret until the day before the event, but you can expect a short, intense OCR course as well as a variety of functional workouts requiring a mixture of speed, strength, endurance, power and sheer determination.
The Warrior Games will see competitors start at staggered intervals across the morning in small groups to take on each challenge across approximately 2 hours; a rest period will follow each challenge so that you can regain some composure, get your breath back and get prepared to go again. Once all the challenges have finished, your points from each challenge will been added up and the champions will be crowned.
We believe that Active Warrior Games is the perfect way to kick start your New Year.
