What do I need to bring to check-in on the day?

You MUST bring photo ID, no ID no race. Once we have checked you in you will receive your wrist band, then you’re good to go.

Why is there a processing fee?

We use an industry recognised third party booking platform to provide secure online event bookings.  The processing fee covers the cost of using this platform and is passed onto Active Works directly.

What do I need to wear?

Dress appropriately for getting cold, wet and dirty and if the weather is on our side don’t forget sun cream. You must wear appropriate shoes, we suggest you wear trail running shoes with good grip.

What happens to kit whilst I’m running?

There is a bag drop in the event village which costs £2 per racer.

Can spectators come along?

Yes, there are loads of great spectator spots around the route so bring the whole family. Parking for spectators cost £5 per car.

When do I get my race pack?

You collect your race wrist band on the morning of the event. Final race information is released a few days before the event so keep and eye on your emails.

What happens if I get injured or cannot take part?

You are able to transfer your entry to another person up until the booking cut off point. On your booking confirmation is a link at the bottom to ‘my events’. Select that option and it will take you to the Active Works system. Select the transfer to another athlete and enter the persons email address. They will be sent a link to book.

Note:

They will have to pay for the booking and you will be issued a refund once they have been paid.

You will incur a £5 administration charge for your transfer.

They will be charged the current price which may be higher than the price you paid.
